About the Original

Introduced in 1961 and made in England, the permanent Masters Trophy is built from 900 silver pieces in the shape of the Augusta National clubhouse — 4 ft wide, ~132 lbs, with a 9'6" engraved band of every winner and runner-up. Since 1993, champions also receive a sterling replica (13.5" × 6.5", 20 lbs) to keep.

About the Original

Awarded since 1895, the U.S. Open Championship Trophy is a two-handled silver jug atop a silver base — 6" diameter, 18" tall, 8.5 lbs. The winner keeps it for one year before returning it to the USGA. Replicas — 90% scale — can be purchased from the USGA's silversmith.

About the Original

One of the largest trophies in golf, the Wanamaker is named for Rodman Wanamaker, who helped create the PGA of America in the early 1900s. The original silver cup stands 28" tall, measures 27" handle-to-handle, and weighs 27 lbs — and was famously misplaced once by a Hall-of-Fame champion.

About the Original

Officially the Golf Champion Trophy, the Claret Jug has been awarded since 1873 to the winner of golf's oldest major. The R&A took over in 1920 and, in 1927, retired the original — every champion since has received a replica. It stands 20.75" tall, 7.25" at its base, and weighs 5.4 lbs.
